Choose one of the DIP switches 2 at A and B, please open the left and right contacts at the same time;

  • A means open the 3.5mm Line In input channel;
  • B means to open the local analog microphone input channel.
  • C represents the Line In input interface.

Use CR2032 for power-on; or use an external 3.0v power supply, as shown in the figure below.

The first step is to use the configuration to set the E7160SL Pre Suit firmware, use the default configuration and then find the wireless module to open wireless enable

Go ahead and find the Front End module, then turn on the Wireless Audio option.

If you can broadcast between two adjacent classrooms without interfering with each other, you can write the streamid (any integer) when the TV streamer leaves the factory, and then configure the Stream Address as streamid in the accepted 7160 hearing aid or RSL10 earphone, and modify the Stream Address in the Sound Design tool as shown below

At this point, the Dongle's music should be wirelessly transmitted to the E7160SL hearing aid or demonstrate the wireless microphone function

This demo can effectively provide audio wireless audio transmission function. The representative application is watching TV, teaching and so on. Use one demo to handle the demonstration of various application scenarios. The audio distance is now about 5 meters.

The functions shown in the demo are only suitable for ON Semiconductor E7160 platform hearing aids or RSL10 platform hearing aids, and do not support the second Bluetooth chip on the market. After verification by many customers, the BTE can be achieved at a distance of about 10 meters, and the wireless microphone function can be at a distance of about 11 meters. However, due to the influence of antenna energy being absorbed by the human body, the distance of the in-ear device can vary greatly, and it is currently at a distance of about 5 meters.

Since the attenuation of the wireless signal decreases exponentially with the increase of the distance, we will optimize the antenna performance and modify the circuit design for the later products according to the needs of customers, so that the in-ear headphones can also be stabilized at a distance of 8-10 meters.

At present, the power consumption of the Demo is about 15mA. It is recommended to use a rechargeable battery in the actual product. For applications with extreme requirements on power consumption, the circuit can be optimized to improve it to about 4mA.
